There are three membership categories: Full Members, Associate Members, and Corresponding Members.
Non-members are welcome at most meetings, but pay an entrance fee of £2 (directly to the treasurer). Those thinking of joining may attend one taster meeting for free.
FULL MEMBERSHIP: £25 per year
This is for those who are able to participate fully in the life of the Society. It is primarily for, but is not restricted to, members of the University of Oxford.
The fee includes free attendance at meetings, an annual subscription to the Journal of Inklings Studies, and the possibility of dining with speakers before talks.
If you wish to join the Society as a Full Member, please speak to the treasurer at one of our meetings at Pusey House, Oxford. Payment may be made by cheque (addressed to ‘Oxford C.S. Lewis Society’) or in cash.
ASSOCIATE MEMBERSHIP: £15 per year or £10 per term
This is for those who are in Oxford for only a term or who would prefer a more limited association with the society. It includes free attendance at meetings and the possibility of dining with speakers before talks.
If you wish to join the Society as an Associate Member, please speak to the treasurer at one of our meetings at Pusey House, Oxford. Payment may be made by cheque (addressed to ‘Oxford C.S. Lewis Society’) or in cash.
CORRESPONDING MEMBERSHIP: £18+p&p per year
This is for those who live abroad or cannot attend meetings regularly. The fee includes

free attendance of 3 meetings, together with the possibility of dining with the speaker (further meetings to be paid at the ordinary rate of £2)

a subscription to The Journal of Inklings Studies

a 10% discount on society-organised conferences and seminars

regular email updates on society activities (circulated also to non-members), as well as occasional updates on special projects and events (not circulated to non-members)

Payment may be made by cheque (UK Pound Sterling cheques only) or via PayPal. Those wishing to pay by cheque should address it to ‘The Journal of Inklings Studies’ and submit it with their membership application. Those wishing to pay by PayPal (using MasterCard, Visa, Maestro, DirectDebit, or their PayPal account) should request an invoice (to be emailed to them) on their application.

The Oxford C.S. Lewis Society is a UK charity under Oxford University's general charitable status. All donations to the Society are eligible for tax benefits, and should be made using these forms:

Membership fees and payments for other products or services cannot be declared as donations.
