2019 Fall Train Swap Meet and Train Show

October 12 and 13, 2019

As advertised in Model Railroader and Railroad Model Craftsman, the Lewis County Model Railroad Club’s Annual Fall Model Train Swap Meet and Train Show is coming up on Saturday October 12th, and Sunday October 13th, 2019.

The show itself is located in the Southwest Washington Fairgrounds Blue Pavilion building located at 2555 N. National Ave., Chehalis, WA 98532.  There is loads of FREE parking.  Not sure how to get there?  See the attached link to a Google Map: (This is a shortened address).  Look for the Train Show signs and join us for an enjoyable two days of trains, friends and fun.

The Frying Dutch Girl will once again be on site both days of the show cooking up some great breakfasts and lunches.   Look her up on Facebook to get an idea of the great food you can expect:

On the first day of this show, Saturday April 6, 2019 ONLY, the Lewis County Historical Museum will have free admission.  So after you are done with the show you can head down to the Museum to see the displays including the Lewis County Model Railroad Club's layout where we will have trains in operation.   

The layout is located inside the historic Chehalis Northern Pacific Depot which is now the Lewis County Historical Museum located at 599 NW Front Way in Chehalis.  Regular admission to the museum $5 but on Saturday only, you get admission to both the Train Show and Museum both for one low price. 



The club's layout has been featured in Model Railroad Hobbyist and Trackside Model Railroading magazines.  Come to the show early so that you have time to visit both the museum and the layout.  


Hours for the show are Saturday: 10-4 and Sunday: 10-3.   Admission is still $5.00 per person.  Children 10 and under are Free.

This is an all scales show with Tinplate, Toy Trains, and scale trains from G scale to Z scale.  Over 160 vendor’s tables.  There will be several operating layouts.

If you are a vendor interested in reserving tables for the show be aware that they always sell out early.   An Application and Cover Letter are posted below for your information and convenience.
