  • Southern Washington Mineralogical Society Scholarship Deadline:  May 1Award:  $500 Eligibility requirements include:  Graduating high school senior who resides in Cowlitz, Lewis, or Wahkiakum Counties in WA or Columbia County in OR. Student must plan a career in one of the following fields of study:  geology, earth science, environmental science, forestry, archaeology, agronomy, hydrology, engineering, physics, chemistry or science education. Scholarship recipient may reapply for an additional scholarship award as a college sophomore.  The Scholarship Application has been posted in the LC2C Scholarship listings, or you may obtain the application form from your high school counseling office.

  • Miss Washington Teen USA Scholarships and other awards are available through this program.  Deadline for application for the 2016 Pageant is May 15, 2015.  Contact your counselor if you are interested in being recommended.More information is also available here http://www.misswashingtonusa.com/.

  • I-5 Toyota Scholarship Deadline:  May 18, 2015I-5 Toyota will award scholarship(s) to graduating seniors who have made a significant contribution to their high school and/or their community and has a desire to pursue post secondary education/training.  Heavier consideration will be given to applicants that have either participated in or volunteered to help with the I-5 Toyota Back-to-School Dash.For more information and the application form, check with your counseling center or go to http://www.i-5toyota.com/i-5-scholarship/.

  • The Paul R. Wineman Freshman Scholarship - UW Deadline:  April 28, 2015Award:  $1,000 (1 award) and $500 (at least 4 awards)Applicant must be a freshman male student at The University of Washington beginning in the Fall of 2015.  The scholarship is offered by Phi Kappa Psi Fraternity; however, membership or commitment of membership in Phi Kapp Psi is not a requirement to win a scholarship. See your high school counselor for more information and the application.  You can also find the application online at http://uwphipsi.com/.

Davis Scholarship Deadline:  May 25, 2015Award:  $1,000Eligibility:  high school juniors and seniors, as well as students currently registered in any post secondary institution (no age restriction). To apply for this scholarship you will need to write an essay of less than 1,000 words.  For essay topic and application requirements, go to http://www.studentawardsearch.com/scholarships.htm.
