Key STR Marker Values for R1a1a Ashkenazi Levites Who Have Done Full Y-DNA Testing

The table below sorts into subclusters the men who have done full Y-DNA testing as of August 6, 2017 and identifies certain marker values that are characteristic of clusters and subclusters.  These patterns have been used to tentatively sort the men who have not done testing into clusters and subclusters.  (Because back mutations are common, actual full Y-DNA testing is necessary to confirm placement in clusters or subclusters, and to determine whether matches actually share a recent ancestor on the direct male line or, because of a lack of mutations in the lines over the past several centuries, are more distant than they appear.)
