Garbage and Recycle

Our recycle and garbage pick-up is based on “normal” amounts of household garbage. Special occasions like moving in, moving out, remodeling, landscaping, holidays, etc. produce excessive amounts of garbage which may require you to use alternative means of disposal.

Goodwill or Thurston County Waste Recovery Center are good alternatives. (Scroll down for address) If you wish you can also request an extra garbage pickup which will cost you approximately $150.00 (estimate only). Please contact the HOA to arrange this in advance. Usually it is much cheaper just to take the items to the dump yourself even if it means renting a truck for a couple hours.

There are two garbage/recycle locations at Le Village, one in back and one in front.

Cardboard recycle is in the back only.

Garbage and Recycle Rules

• All garbage goes inside the dumpster and must be in bags. No dumping over fences or putting garbage in recycle bins.
• Do NOT put garbage outside the dumpsters even if they are full, take the garbage to the other dumpster or back to your house until they have been emptied.
  • Recycle appropriately, don't put garbage in the recycle bins. Put recycle/garbage in the proper locations. LeMay will not pick up our recycle if there is garbage or incorrect items in it.
• Keep lids on garbage and recycle bins closed. If left open, rain and animals get into the dumpsters which cause a mess.
  • All cardboard must be broken down and flattened before going into the cardboard recycling container. Unfortunately Pizza boxes cannot be recycled as they are greasy from the pizza.
  • There is a $150 fine for improper dumping in LeVillage dumpsters and recycling bins. If you are caught dumping or recycling improperly LeMay will fine us and consequently, THE HOMEOWNER WILL BE FINED. If you rent, then the fine may be passed on to you.
