Regarding Tithing

3/25/11 From The Lord, Our God and Savior - The Word of The Lord Spoken to Timothy During an Online Fellowship, For The Lord’s Little Flock, and For All Those Who Have Ears to Hear

"Thus says The Lord: Blessed is that servant of Mine who seeks out the poor, whose heart is eager to help the needy, for they know My ways and seek to please Me. Blessed also is My servant who gives out of the abundance they have received, for they walk in My ways. Yet most blessed is My servant who gives from their lack, for they do justly, love mercy, and walk humbly with their God; indeed, they have understood.
Yet woe to those who ignore the poor and draw back their hand from the needy, while they sit at ease in their abundance. For destitution is coming and shall be born out of great desolation, in the day I take away their abundance and leave their houses desolate. Woe also to those who say they are My servants, yet refuse to help those in need, for only tears and great sorrow await them. And woe to those who fail to give even the smallest amount, claiming they are in lack, for they have no trust, having learned nothing from the poor widow[1].
Little flock, have you learned nothing from My Word?! Have you so quickly forgotten My Letters, in where I taught you the way in which you should walk?! For indeed, who you choose defines what you do, as I have already told you. And who are the poor and the needy? How have you treated them, while entreating Me?
... Do not lie to yourselves, little children! Every one of you who live in these United States, who have sat at this table, want for nothing! And every one of you who live in the modern cities and towns, with their many luxuries and devices, also lack for nothing! Shall you mince words over a dollar, while others sit upon the ground and seek to draw water from a pit?! Shall you covet five dollars or even ten while you drive about in your automobiles, and yet your brothers and sisters overseas willingly walk miles to preach My Word, with joy, even unto their dying breath?!
And still some of you sit at ease in your padded chairs, punching the keys, saying within yourselves, “I am delivered”... You are NOT delivered!

Reasonable Service

5/6/11 From The Lord, Our God and Savior - The Word of The Lord Spoken to Timothy, For a Brother in Christ, and For All Those Who Have Ears to Hear (Regarding a request for funds for an evangelist meeting in India)

"For it remains My will that all which My little flock gives
Is to be used for the declaration of The Gospel,
And to aid the poor and help the needy,
And to feed and clothe the little ones...

Therefore, let all those who have received of Me pray,
And use what I have given them wisely...

Says The Lord."

1/26/07 From The Lord, Our God and Savior - Wisdom Given to Timothy Regarding Tithing, For a Sister in Christ, and For All Those Who Have Ears to Hear

[Timothy] Abraham gave a tenth of all he had to Melchizedek, king of Salem; and later a portion was also given of the tribes of Israel to the Levites, so they may serve God without hindrance, and so it is to this day. Yet today the voice of God is not with His people as it was then, for it is written: “The heart of this people has waxed gross, their ears are very dull of hearing and their eyes they have shut, lest at any time they should see with their eyes and hear with their ears and understand with their heart, and be fully converted, and I should heal them, says The Lord.” Therefore, give directly to the poor as your heart leads you, for this is well and good in the eyes of God. For in serving God shall no man profit by monetary means, but shall profit only by that which The Lord gives. And what He gives is true; and in no wise is it of men or mammon.

[The Lord] Beloved, I delight in that which one gives to another in My name, and by the works of their own hands and feet in all righteousness... This is the tithe in which I delight most. Therefore if one comes to you, saying, “Give me a cup of water”, give them a drink in My name. And if another comes, saying, “I need a shirt, for I am naked and cold”, give them your shirt and your coat also. And if this same one asks, “Will you walk with me this far?”, go with them double.

Therefore, tithe not only of your money and material possessions,
But also of your strength and your time,
As one willing to give up their life for My sake...

For this is to truly know Me,
This is to walk in Me, in My very footsteps,
And to love your neighbor as yourself...

Says The Lord YahuShua.

10/7/04 From The Lord, Our God and Savior - The Word of The Lord Spoken to Timothy, For Timothy and His Wife, and For All Those Who Have Ears to Hear

"So then, My beloved servants, share your gifts; lift up the poor and help the needy, give drink to the thirsty and feed the hungry, share My love and wash each other’s feet. Yet no longer be a friend of this world, and no more walk in the ways of the churches of men, nor be like those around you; for they have not known Me."

11/30/08 From The Lord, Our God and Savior - The Word of The Lord Spoken to Timothy, For Kathy and For the Lord’s Little Flock, and For All Those Who Have Ears to Hear

"Oh My beloved children, why have you wandered so far from Me? You say within yourselves, “We are nigh to the Lord. We have drawn close to Him... Look how we walk in His footsteps and obey His commands.” You disobedient, selfish children, open your eyes! You have hoarded these things, as though they were spoils. YOU have not upheld the cause of the widow, nor have you obeyed her requests.

"If any among you have two coats, take one and give it away. If any among you have two pairs of shoes, take one and give it away. Take all of which you have and do not use, and give it all away... Do it now! And do so rejoicing, and with all trust in the knowing that I am Lord, and that which I have freely given am I also able to take away and give to another. I speak not just of possessions. Get wisdom and receive understanding, and truly become My body, My servants.
Now go, and seek out the poor. Do not be lazy... Be diligent, and give not to just one or one place that is convenient, but seek them out. Ask who is in need in your own communities, for they are all your neighbors....

 For as you have done to the least of these,
 assuredly, I say to you, you have done it to Me.
 And any you have forsaken,
it was I, even I, you forsook.

Walk in Me,
and do good in My name.
And that which you give,
give it in My name.

For all you see and all you have,
even all which you can imagine...

All of it is Mine!"

What Is Given Can Also Be Taken Away,
Until You Are Again Ready to Receive

1/3/11 From The Lord, Our God and Savior - The Word of The Lord Spoken to Timothy, For The Lord’s Little Flock, and For All Those Who Have Ears to Hear (Addendum to “Treasuries of Wrath and Mercy”)

"Little flock, consider nothing you have done thus far as anything, except your reasonable service, says The Lord. Or is your love limited and your compassion conditional? When will you open to Me fully and be healed? When will your hearts burst inside you, setting you free?
Yet because you are dull of hearing, and your hearts remain calloused and hard, I tell you plainly once again, you live in kings’ houses! And to those of you who yet resist My words, I say this: Are not all your needs met, as though you dwell in the court? What lack have you, save that which remains wanting in your hearts? For I tell you the truth, ALL who forsake the poor and the needy, and the fatherless and the widow, do not know Me, and have no place with Me at My supper, until they become as those they have forsaken. For by no other means will they understand true compassion, unless they are made to suffer. I AM THE LORD.
Beloved, to drink of My blood is to receive of Me, to give up everything is to walk in Me, to suffer is to know Me, and to die for another is to know the depths of My love."

12/11/06 From The Lord, Our God and Savior - The Word of The Lord Spoken to Timothy, For All Those Who Call of Themselves Christian, and For All Those Who Have Ears to Hear

"My children, I shall speak plainly so you may be saved:

Love one another;
Feed the poor in spirit and in body,
Give drink to the thirsty and clothe the naked;
Render aid to the stranger in need,
Visit the widows in their affliction,
Uphold the fatherless, and speak to those in prison;
Help the sick..."

Refinement and The Day of The Lord

One Body

This is the way of The Lord...

That one in need in My body
Be supported by their brothers and sisters,
With all members becoming one...

One body, in Me...

That he who is able to walk in Me
Dwell alongside those who are weak,
For they are in need of strengthening...

Lo, you shall all wash each other’s feet!...

Even as I do likewise
Through you and amongst you,
To the praise of My glory...

Says The Lord YahuShua.

One Body

Serving Others in Love

Beloved, by serving others in love,
Putting their needs before your own...

By sacrificing yourself,
Your desires, your wants, your will,
Your body, even your very life...

Will you learn what it truly means
To wash each other’s feet...

Says The Lord.

Serving Others in Love‎‎

Idle Hands

Idle hands lack bread,
And an idle heart lacks trust;
Their backs are bent down always,
Their countenances fallen,
Their eyelids have grown very heavy...

Yet love strengthens the spirit,
And washing another’s feet
Is good for the soul,
Renewing the whole of the body...

Says The Lord.

Idle Hands

Glad Service

A right heart brings forth glad service,
And a joyful giver reaps what he sows;
Life in abundance shall be his reward...

Yet the heart of the wicked seeks his own way;
And he too shall reap according
To that which he has sown,
Welcoming death when it comes.

Walking Together in The Father’s Joy

Blessed is the man who gives out of the abundance of his heart. For one such as this gives, knowing in his heart that all he has is Mine and all I have is his, given and received according to the knowledge of My will for those who believe. For this man knows what it is to be My servant. He is bound by nothing, a man who walks free in all the earth, blessing the name of The Lord his God with enduring trust.
Therefore those who give out of obligation know not the joy of The Lord, nor of the freedom which comes by service, helping others in My name.

Yet the servant whose heart leaps with joy
At the thought of washing the feet of the poor,
Who also eagerly seeks out the afflicted,
To give them comfort, knows that whatsoever
They do for another they have also done for Me...

For these know Me, and I live in them...

And together we shall walk,
Choosing the good and refusing the evil,
Until we walk together anew in My kingdom...

Says The Lord.

Walking Together in The Father’s Joy

Comfort the sick, lift up the downtrodden, and visit those in prison; clothe the naked, shelter the homeless, and above all feed the hungry; do so in My name. For in Me shall all find comfort, exaltation, companionship, warm coverings and sanctuary from the storm; even food and drink for their soul shall they receive in Me. For all these things are the very definition and purpose of love.

Thus as I am, so also were you created...

Understand Love...

For in My love were you created,
To receive and to give;
And in the giving does one also receive...

Therefore love one another,
As I have loved you...

Says The Lord your Redeemer.

1/28/07 From The Lord, Our God and Savior - The Word of The Lord Spoken to Timothy, For All Those Who Have Ears to Hear

"Cast off all these riches and sell everything you have built up with MY money, and give it to the poor and the needy. Feed the hungry, give drink to the thirsty, clothe the naked. Embrace the fatherless and the widow, shelter the stranger and the homeless, tend to the sick and visit those in prison... Execute true judgment! Stop judging amongst yourselves, of yourselves, according to your own corrupt knowledge!... Perceive rightly and be stirred up!"
