Leto High School's Advanced Placement Mission Statement:
To create and empower a community of Leto students focused upon success in their respective Advanced Placement courses, in college, and beyond.
Goals:
- Fundraise for students’ AP resources.
- Foster collaboration between different AP students to create a community of support.
- Create, maintain, and distribute a resource library of AP materials.
- Possible Community Service related to tutoring and other AP goals.
- Create a more prestigious atmosphere for AP Students.
- AP Detox Night: Two nights this year where we will eat, play games, have fun, and NOT DISCUSS ANYTHING AP.
- AP Documentary Night: Students will be invited to a movie night in one of the classrooms. Snacks like popcorn will be provided from general funds and the students will be able to watch a documentary dealing with an AP subject that will further their understanding of AP content.
- Field Trips: Possible AP field trips - Still working on that...
