The Trust is an incorporated society and a registered charity. Donations are tax deductible. Our Kiwibank account number is: 38-9007-0178056-001. Please remember to provide contact details when making a deposit.

Please note that 100% of donations go towards acquiring plants or equipment for the reserve.  There are no administrative overheads charged against your donations.

COVENANTING or GIFTING PROPERTY:

If you are the owner of a property adjoining the reserve and are interested in having the bush on your land preserved for posterity, you may like to consider covenanting part of your property or offering part of your property as a donation or for sale.  A number of other owners have done this before which has helped to build up the quality and scope of the reserve.   You could approach the Auckland Council direct or to discuss the matter with a member of the Management Committee. In general, legal costs of subdivision or covenanting are likely to be covered by the council.  But this practice may change with the new super city restructure.

One resident covenanted part of their property through the QE2 trust. We were advised recently that this option is still available for Le Roys Bush.
You could also read the details on the QE2 National Trust site http://www.openspace.org.nz/Site/Covenants/

Please email LeRoysBush@gmail.com for further information about covenanting your property through the QE2 Trust.
Tell us whether you would like us to ring or visit you or to reply by email.
