Oil Painting Classes

Every Monday 2:00 pm - 4:30 pm

Sessions consist of 4 classes in a month, except where there's an extra Monday.

Other classes are forming, weekday mornings and an evening class.

You can join at any time, no prior experience is necessary, all levels are welcome.

The classes start with different warm-up exercises, deep breathing,stretching, and other useful ways to prepare yourself for creating. An atmosphere is created which is meant to be calming and inspiring.

Technical information is presented and taking notes recommended. Tips to improve drawing, color concepts, design, perspectives, and mixing to name a few will provide you with invaluable tools.

You will work from photos of scenes of Israel as your subject, so collect pictures, take them yourself or gather from other sources, as one of my goals in teaching is to connect you in a creative way to the Land.

Whether you are a beginner or have painted for years this approach to painting, of combining the technical with the soul, I believe will benefit you as it has myself and my many students that have taken this artistic journey.

With the small class size of three students each is assured individual attention as each student works on his own painting at his/her own pace.

A supply list will be sent for materials needed for class and easels will be provided.
