Leonardo Ridolfi

I am Associate Professor of Economic History at the Department of Economics and Statistics of the University of Siena. I graduated in History at the University of Pisa and received a Masters’ degree in Economics from the University of Pisa and Sant’Anna School of Advanced Studies. I hold a PhD in Economics from IMT School for Advanced Studies Lucca. My research aims to explain changes in living standards across Europe between 1300 and 1900 with a focus on France and Italy. I am also interested in the causes and consequences of economic growth, human capital accumulation, and technological change.
