Night (Non IR)

Blog (&About)

"It being now evident that there was a refraction of rays coming from the Sun, which though not fit for vision, were yet highly invested with a power of occasioning heat, I proceeded to examine its extend as follows...".

William Herschel, Philosophical Transactions of the Royal Society, Mer. 27, Apr. 24; May 15; 1800.

Sometimes, even the most vulgar, most prosaic, most ordinary of the landscapes, be it urban or otherwise, glows with an ethereal beauty when revealed under the infrared extreme of the Spectrum. Certainly, not for everyday shooting, its mistery, however, deserves an effort of its own that every serious photographer should explore at least once in a lifetime.
