I am a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at the University of Oxford. I am currently funded by the EPSRC grant "4d TQFT and the categorified Hall Algebra". My collaborators on this project are Adam Gal and Kobi Kremnitzer.

I received my PhD from Tel-Aviv University in 2016. My advisor was Joseph Bernstein.

Here is my CV.

My research interests are in geometric representation theory and categorification. I wrote an exposition for non-mathematicians explaining my research here. There are also these slides where I tried to explain my research to other mathematicians.

In more detail I am currently working on constructing categorical analogs of quantum groups and their representations. A first part of this project is in the article Hall categories and KLR categorification (joint with Adam Gal and Kobi Kremnitzer). The second part concerning the categorification of the bialgebra structure of the positive part of the quantum group is currently in preparation.

In my PhD thesis I showed how a categorical Heisenberg double action can be derived from a notion of Hopf category. Some slides explaining this are here.

In particular this construction recovers a categorification of infinite-dimensional Heisenberg algebra due to M.Khovanov from a more abstract point of view as shown here. I am currently thinking of several possible generalizations of this approach.
