Welcome February! Only 6 more weeks of winter! The snow has arrived in Oswego and yes it is snowing as I write this article. When the temperature allows – go play in the snow together.
What a fun time was had by those families that attended our first Family Lego Night. Thank you to Dawn Metott and the Oswego City/County Youth Bureau for making this event happen. We are working on scheduling another one soon. We also had many AmeriCorps members with us not only making Lego cars but also fleece baby blankets that the Oswego County Health Department’s Maternal Child Health Program will distribute. What a fun project for them and for us too!
Our annual Gertrude Hawk candy sale has begun and will run until February 11th with an approximate pick-up date of March 12th. Thank you to all who participate and continue to make this such a successful fundraiser each year. We appreciate your continued support.
The playground committee is reforming and meeting with some representatives regarding a new playground. If you are interested in joining the playground committee please contact Maryann Preston.
Please join us on Feb. 5th at 6pm in the library for our Home & School meeting. Free childcare is provided.
Happy Valentines Day to all and enjoy the break!
