Leicestershire Calligraphers was founded in 1989 and continues to welcome people of all levels of ability. The Society aims to promote an interest in calligraphy and how it can be used in modern artistic forms.

We benefit enormously from the experience and enthusiasm of several members who are tutors of calligraphy. Our meetings are held monthly on Saturday afternoons at Evington Village Hall, however, there are no meetings in July and August. We organise additional day workshops and, when possible, an exhibition of members' work.

Annual membership is currently £15, plus a fee of £2 for each monthly meeting you attend. Non-members may attend any meeting for an admission fee of £3.50. You are welcome to visit before deciding whether to join us.

If you are interested in attending a meeting, please contact The Secretary at leicscalligraphers@gmail.com.

Thank you for visiting our website, which is in development.  We hope you'll return from time to time to view examples of our work.
