This program explores the basics of Lego Mindstorm NXT Robotics. Students will learn how to build a strong and functional robot base while utilizing multiple attachments. They will also learn basic programming functions in order to program their robot to perform various tasks on the First Lego League competition board. Students will work in teams or four to design, build and program their robots. They will also build friendships though various team work exercises designed to encouraging leadership and cooperation through out the week.
