Bullock Elementary School (1410 McNeill Rd, Sanford, NC 27330) 

Room 108 - Enter building and turn left. Walk past the office. Classroom is down the hall across from the cafeteria.


  • To get creative, innovative, practical ideas about teaching reading and writing to children.
  • To network with local and state colleagues and professionals in the field.
  • To earn 1.0 CEU in Reading, Full credit is given for attendance at ALL meetings if you sign in, complete, and have homework sheets checked off by an officer prior to leaving. Four make up opportunities are available during the year for missed meetings: judge Young Authors submissions, help put Young Authors book together, participate at member share during the April meeting, and attend the planning session for next year in May.  Remember to sign up through NCEES/Unified Talent (formally TrueNorth Logic)

  • To share the love of reading with children and adults.


Returning members may send a registration form and a check for $25 made out to LCRA to Charlene at Bullock.

Returning members who bring a friend to the September 26 meeting, and the friend joins, will receive a reduction in their membership fee to $20. The new member will also pay $20.
