Started writing songs at age 15 influenced by lyrics and writing style of John Prine. Then got the bug for performing while aboard the USS Nassau in the mid 1980's. Playing for the ships crew out at sea and busking on the streets in various ports. After the Navy moved to the Shenandoah Valley and played Bluegrass for years before returning to solo performing. In July 1996 started performing for group dinners for the Shenandoah River Outfitters. Now starting his 21st year performing at Skyland Resort and Big Meadows Lodge in Shenandoah National Park. Playing a genre of music considered to be Americana Folk Blues. Songs range from late 1800's folk ballads and 1930's Blues with covers of Johnny Cash, Neil Young and Dylan in the mix.  You can find Lee performing around the valley please check calendar for dates, times and venue information.
