Turkish has 6 personal pronouns: 3 singular and 3 plural.

Notes:

  • he/she/it: o.
  • "bana” and “sana” are exceptions. By the rules, these would have to be “bene", “sene". (Some dialects use these forms.)
  • The letter “n” is inserted because in Turkish two vowels cannot immediately follow each other.
  • "Siz” is also used to express the polite “you", which can be singular or plural.
  • All above suffixes for the states of the name are stressed, as described in section Suffixes for: five states of the name.
