Welcome to Learn ImageJ.  This site seeks to make image analysis tractable to researchers.  Learning ImageJ empowers researchers; enabling them to incorporate image analysis techniques into their experimental design and better understand the work of their peers.  Most of the information here is geared toward research applications yet there is significant information about images, acquisition, and processing that non-researchers can benefit from this site as well.

This is my first attempt at broadcasting my knowledge on the web.  Please bear with me as I add content to the site.  I also beg forgiveness in my writing.  While I may enjoy images and find my wording clear, I understand that I may go overboard or make assumptions of your background knowledge.  If you are beginning to feel like a zombie trudging through the text on this site, take a break and come back another time.  I am all too familiar with the "zombie stare" people develop when I teach them one-on-one.  I am only recently learning how to curtail my enthusiasm and teach at the pace of my student.  Please accept my apologies ahead of time.
