My essay on Alumbramiento (Lifeline) has appeared as a special feature on the new DVD of Víctor Erice's short films: La morte rouge and Alumbramiento. In addition there are writings by poet and essayist Pere Gimferrer (recipient of the Premio Nacional de las Letras Españolas, 1998), French film critic and editor Marcos Uzal, Ángel Quintana (profesor of the History and Theory of Cinema) of the Universidad de Gerona, Spain, and Professor Juan Egea of the University of Wisconsin.
