Hi, my name is Laura and I knit...alot. To support my habit I have just started a hand painted yarn company, The Painted Sheep, and also work part time at agreat little yarn shop, Knit Picky. When I am not knitting, I am a full time student, a part time graduate student and dabble in other hobbies such as sewing and making lotions and soaps. To get in touch with me, email me atlbullins@gmail.com.

Want to know what I'm thinking about? Check out my blog!!

"We live in a world of machines. Our world moves faster, bigger and better with every moment. Machines replace humans and often do our jobs better. When you are knitting socks and sweaters and scarves, you aren't just knitting. You are assigning value to human effort. You are holding back time. You are preserving the simple unchanging act of handwork." from At Knit's End by Stephanie Pearl-McPhee
