(Moulton, AL) – The Lawrence County Public Library is joining public libraries across the state in participating in “Snapshot Day: One Day in the Life of Alabama Public Libraries” on Tuesday, Sept. 18, 2018 to show how important public libraries and library systems are to the state of Alabama.

On Sept. 18, the Lawrence County Public Library will compile statistics, patron comments, photographs, and other data chronicling a typical library day. The results will be added to those of public libraries across Alabama to show how libraries provide invaluable services to Alabama citizens. The Lawrence County Public Library will hold a random drawing from the patron comments to award a Kindle Fire tablet. The winner will be announced on Wednesday, Sept. 19, 2018.

Entries for the Kindle Fire table will be limited to one per patron. To be eligible, the comment card must have all sections completed. Neither Library Staff (employees and volunteers) nor their family members are eligible to participate in the drawing.

“Snapshot Day: One Day in the Life of Alabama Public Libraries” is a project of the Alabama Public Library Service.
