The Lawrence County Public Library has expanded its service with eBooks, audiobooks, and music available to enjoy from the library's website.  Library card holders can borrow popular digital media anytime, anywhere by visiting http://camellia.lib.overdrive.com.

Users may browse the library’s website, borrow titles with a valid library card/PIN, and enjoy on all major computers and devices, including iPhone®, iPad®, Nook®, Android™ phones and tablets, and Kindle® [U.S. Libraries]. eBooks can be read immediately on any device with an internet browser and all titles will automatically expire at the end of the lending period. There are no late fees!

Rex Bain, the LCPL Director stated that, “We are excited to bring this opportunity to the residents of Lawrence County!  We are thankful for the funding provided by the TVA in lieu of taxes program administered by the offices of State Senators Bedford & Bussman and State Representative Johnson.  We could not offer this service without their support!  As always, we ask the citizens of Lawrence County to let their elected officials know how important continued funding is to the Lawrence County Public Library.”

This new service, powered by OverDrive, is free for users with a library card. To get started enjoying eBooks, audiobooks and more, stop by the Lawrence County Public Library to get your account set-up and then visit http://camellia.lib.overdrive.com. You can find helpful tools and information, such as contacting support, by clicking the Help button on the digital collection.  Please call the library at 256.974.0883 for additional information.
