Laurel End is proud to have provided beds and breakfasts for a huge diversity of travellers over the years: from globetrotters hailing all the way from Tasmania...to those who arrive on their own two feet from Manchester...from 9 weeks old to 90 years old.

Here are a few of their comments...

Laura's B and B was the icing on the top of a perfect cake and her breakfast was amazing!

Finding Laurel End House was a blessing. Warm hospitality and a beautiful 4 storey house. I was fortunate enough to have the top floor all to myself. Very clean and comfortable. I will recommend it to others and I plan to return one day.

It felt like I came to a different world! It also felt like I am back to Africa but then even more beautiful........I am definitely going to come back with my husband and two little kids.........Hebden Bridge is indeed a fair trade town. Laura is a very warm person and makes the place feel homely. Nice view and beautiful comfortable beds.

Thank you for a happy experience - big room with the even bigger bed (!) and a superb vegetarian breakfast. Chance brought me here, but it was a happy chance that will serve to bring me back, next time with the family along too.

I had a great time in Hebden Bridge. The B and B is in a great location and very comfortable. I enjoyed looking at the view from my window every morning and every evening. I would certainly stay here again.

Our first visit to Hebden Bridge and we'll definitely be back! This B and B is so reasonably priced, homely and unpretentious and in a great location for the town centre.

It was just lovely staying here! I came from Italy for my first holiday alone in the place that inspired the work of my favourite English poet, Ted Hughes...After every walk I had the feeling of arriving back home...

Walked here from Manchester. Challenging around Oldham. Improving from Rochdale to Summit. Legs gave up in Todmorden. Caught train. Hobbled off. Thank God for fantasic guest house. Great night's sleep...lovely breakfast. Still in pain but might make Sowerby Bridge.

Vince and friends, Manchester

Loved the view of snow falling and the whiteness of the hills through the windows. Very impressed with the changes to Hebden Bridge over the last 30 years. We will be back to visit the old home town in the future.

Michael and Liz, Tasmania

We've had a lovely stay. The family room was very spacious and the welcome very friendly (the breakfast was great too). It's been a great base to explore the surrounding area.
