Jess Gisin

Jessica sang her first solo when she was 5 years old. In church. Yep, that's the truth.  Now she sings about one night stands and gay boyfriends and making love alone.  She has performed all over the country in shows and cabarets that she has written. Some of the Fancy theaters she has performed at are listed here: Artpark in Buffalo, NY, Cape Fear Regional theater in NC, The Arvada Center & Colorado Springs fine Arts Center in CO, Civic Light Opera and Vitello's Cabaret in CA. She won this singing competition a few years back and got to sing with Shirley Jones, Patrick Cassidy and Marin Mazzie and was directed by Lonnie Price and Paul Gemignani and that may have been the high point of her career so far. Now she studies improv at iO, writes stories and stand up, and continues to perform songs from obscure musicals that parallel her life. She's a pretty good singer but kind of a hot mess everywhere else.
