The ladies lounge.

Stairs from the theatre lobby (at left) head down into the
ladies lounge.  It appears that the moldings are original.

Needs an upgrade.

The east wall of the space under the lobby.

We're back in about the mid point of the lobby basement area --
between the area shown in the photo above and the lounge area.
Note the generous ceiling height.

The wall straight ahead is south. The metal stair goes up and
out to the exit corridor along the south side of the building.

If we were to turn around 180 degrees, we'd be looking at the
 entrance to the boiler room.

The first doorway at the left goes up a ramp to the ladies lounge
area. The second doorway gets you into a corridor underneath
the south side of the auditorium toward the stage.

Here we're in the main room in this part of the basement, forward
(toward Broadway) of the ladies lounge area. The stair here goes
up to the south storefront as part of the original office building
entrance.  Broadway would be off to the right.

Interestingly, this stair is wider than the stair going to the upper
floors of the office building. Original use for the space is unknown.

Looking toward Broadway.

Here we've turned 90 degrees toward Broadway. The stairs
up are at the extreme left of the photo. Note the sprinkler
shut off for this end of the building.

The basement is sprinkled -- with some of the work being
quite recent -- including some new sprinkler heads.

The main sprinkler shut off  for the stage system is in the
trap room, centered up against the back wall.

Take a look at the doorway at the right side of the Broadway
wall -- that gets into an electric room.  This side of that, behind
the green/pink wall, is the boiler room.

A fairly new 600A 3 phase service fed off Broadway. This
room is in the extreme northwest corner of the basement.

If we were to turn around 180 degrees, we'd be
looking at the back of the boiler room.
