"February 5, 2016, will be the nineteenth consecutive year that homeschool families from all across New Mexco convene in Santa Fe at the state capitol building, known as the Roundhouse, to celebrate Home Education week in New Mexico and to meet and greet state legislators.  This annual assembly is our opportunity to bring the face of homeschooling to New Mexico's leaders, to remind them that we take our citizenship seriously, and to express our sincere appreciation for the public service of these citizen-legislators."  CAPE Magazine Winter 2015/Vol.21, No.1

CAPE at the Capitol would make a great educational experience for your family.  Please contact us for more information on maximizing your time at this event.  There is so much to see and do.

We have found this time of year to be a great opportunity to gather together to fellowship, play games and have fun, and also have a planning meeting to map out the rest of the year for our group.

Please join us for a potluck dinner, games food, fun and planning meeting. All ages welcome.

National Day of Prayer

posted Apr 30, 2015, 7:34 AM by Rachel Curtis

Homeschool Family, we are invited to lead the Pledge of Allegiance for the National Day of Prayer gathering next Thursday, May 7, to be held at noon at Plaza Park. Can anyone join us?

I'm super honored that they would consider us to take part in this event. Please join us as we pray for our community, our world and our very precious freedom to home educate our most precious children.

We can do a sack lunch after or head over to have pizza at JC's?

Park Days

posted Apr 13, 2015, 11:19 AM by Rachel Curtis   [ updated Apr 28, 2015, 1:14 PM ]

Date:  Beginning May 6 and each Wednesday thereafter through the summer
 Place: Lincoln Park
Time:  11:30-2:00 or whenever you can get there or have to leave within that time period.

We are a pretty laid back bunch of homeschool moms and we all have different things going on, so don’t worry if you can’t get there until 12:00 or have to leave early.  We do usually bring lunches, camp chairs, or blankets to sit on and just plan on spending time together, and having fun.  I do hope many of you can make it!
