The Objective: To instill in all members the ideals of finer womanhood.
The Purpose of the Girl's Club: To foster moral, intellectual, cultural, and inspirational training for all members of the organization. To promote an appreciation of the great tradition of our founders. To preserve the health and beauty of the body. To inspire the love for home and all mankind.
The Las Amigas Junior Club sponsors annually the Miss L.A.J. Pageant. This Pageant is held in March or April of each year. The proceeds from this Pageant are awarded as scholarships, provide registration fees for Workshop attendance, Board Meetings, State, Regional, and National Conventions.
This Club has been inspirational in the development of young ladies in their journey to finer womanhood. Members of the Las Amigas Junior Club are active leaders in the community.
Signature programs and community service activities include: group worship, adoption of a needy family, nursing home visitations, Vision for Haiti Initiative, annual can-a-thon, volunteerism in the community and donations to charitable organizations. This organization continues to attract young ladies, who embrace our motto, "Lifting As We Climb."
