  • Please check and clean out backpacks daily.
  • If your child needs to wear sunblock, please apply it before school.
  • The AM session is 7:45 - 10:20Please be on time!
  • The PM session is 12:05 - 2:40. Please be on time!

Unless it's an emergency, please try to contact us about simple problems via email or set up a conference time with us. Please know that if an issue happens during the day we will talk to you at dismissal. We don't want to appear rude, but mini-conferences at the start of the day prevent us from getting the kids settled and ready to learn. Please remember that the door is opened from 7:45-7:50 and 12:05-12:10 and after that you will have to drop your child off with the office or security so they can be walked down.

Lending Library:
Please send back your lending library books.  If you are not sure if you have a book please see Mrs. Wesselhoff.

If you wish to volunteer in the classroom or on any walking or bus field trip, you must complete the CPS application to volunteer. The link went home in last weeks Falcon Flier and is attached below. Please note that when you volunteer in the classroom or on a trip, the expectation is that you are there to help all of the children in the classroom.

Change of Clothes:
Please make sure your child has a change of clothes in his/her backpack daily. Please periodically check these clothes to make sure they are correct for the season and still fit. Please label all clothes with your child's first and last name. If your child has outgrown his/her sweatpants, we always have a need for a few extras.

We have started to talk about buildings. We have been discussing construction, what makes a building strong as well as different types of buildings. A favorite story from this unit is The Three Little Pigs. This is a great book you can check out from the library with many versions and in many different languages. Also you can ask your child what their favorite part was or if they could retell the story to you.

We had a great time at the zoo last week. Thanks again to our chaperones. Thank you to those who have donated or spread the word for our project. Please continue to spread the word on your social media.

Paper Towels:
We are running low on paper towels again. Please send in a roll or two if you would like.

As always, let us know if you have questions, comments or concerns.
