Be a 2-Hour Power Volunteer!
Just two hours of your time at Lapham or Marquette can make a huge difference to our students and schools! We know you are busy and that your time is valuable. But imagine, in the time it takes to watch a movie, you can make a real difference in the lives of our kids.

There are many volunteer opportunities throughout the school year. To find out how you can participate, watch for announcements in our schools' monthly newsletters (sent via email), through back pack mail flyers, and through the PTG Email List and PTG Facebook Group.

Some volunteer opportunities include:

– Family Events

– School Fundraisers

– One-Time Projects (Picture Day, Open House, Registration, etc.)

– Teacher/Staff Appreciation Day

– Election Bake Sales

– Photocopying/Office Work

– Lapham Swimming/Gym Class (4th Quarter)

– Lunch Room Help

– Lapham and Marquette School Gardens, Green Team and Outdoor Projects

Able to offer more than 2 hours?
Consider taking on a PTG leadership role on the Executive Committee or as a Committee Chair or Coordinator. Attend a PTG meeting- including the business meeting which begins right after the general topic presentation, join the PTG Email List and PTG Facebook Group to be alerted to leadership roles that are needed.

Classroom Volunteers
Classroom teachers organize their own in-classroom volunteers and chaperones for field trips – they will let you know when those opportunities arise.
