The LCM conference series aims at situating the study of language in a contemporary interdisciplinary dialogue (involving philosophy, linguistics, psychology, anthropology, semiotics and other related fields), and promoting a better integration of cognitive and cultural perspectives in empirical and theoretical studies of language.

The Fifth International Conference on Language, Culture and Mind /LCM V) will be held on June 27-29 2012 at the Catholic University of Portugal in Lisbon. The conference will be preceded by a Young Researchers Workshop on 26 June 2012 (same venue), in which young researchers will present their dissertation projects and current work.
