One City. One Team. One Crown.

The past two baseball seasons have been an incredible time for the people of Kansas City.  The Royals making the World Series and both 2014 and 2015 and winning it all in 2015 was special for all of us.  Everyone was taking about the Royals and there was an excitement that just seemed to lift the entire city.

This print combines two of my Kansas City images from the fall of 2015.  The top of the print is a panoramic view taken in September 2015 from the top of the Liberty Memorial Tower.  It was a clear Saturday afternoon and there was a great view from miles around.  The bottom print is from Game 1 of the Royals-Astros series at Kaufman Stadium - October 8, 2015.  The photo is taken from the seats my wife and I were sitting in for the game.  The picture was taken during player introductions - you can see the players lining up on the foul lines.  The clouds were awesome and the sun was setting.  A couple innings into the game the storm rolled in and there was a rain delay for a while.  The Royals lost the game 2-5 but went on to the win the series from Houston on their way to the World Championship.
