EVENTS FOR UNDOCUMENTED STUDENTS
CPS DREAMer Information Day 

When: Saturday, October 18th, 2014

Time: Program will run from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m.

Location: Westinghouse HS

Description: The CPS DREAMer Information Day is an event for students who would benefit from the passage of the DREAM Act as well as their parents and allies. Informational workshops will include the following topics: DACA (Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals), the Illinois DREAM Act and the Illinois DREAM Fund Scholarship, Online Resources and Financial Aid, and the Secretary of State's TVDL's (Temporary Visitor Driver's Licenses)

CPS DREAMer Information Day


When: Saturday, November 16th at 9am-12pm

Where: Curie HS

What: The Office of College & Career Success and the Office of School Counseling and Postsecondary Advising would all DREAMer Students and their families to attend the CPS DREAMer Information Day taking place on Saturday, November 16th from 9 a.m. to 12 noon at Curie High School--4959 S. Archer Ave, Chicago IL 60632. Students and parents will benefit from hearing about:

  • The Illinois DREAM Act & The Illinois DREAM Fund Scholarship
  • The Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) Program
  • The Temporary Visitor Drivers Licences (TVDL's)
  • The Proposed Comprehensive Immigration Legislation
  • Admissions and Financial Aid options available to DREAMers from area colleges & universities.
