About

I started in philosophy with Plato's Republic on a junior-high road trip to Houston. I then took symbolic logic as a college freshman and fell in love with the subject. I committed shortly thereafter to the lifelong study of philosophy.

I specialize in the history of analytic philosophy, philosophy of logic and math, and metaphysics. I draw much of my research inspiration from the thought of Bertrand Russell and Ludwig Wittgenstein, applying their insights to my own work. I also concentrate on ancient philosophy and modal logic.

I enjoy live-tweeting philosophy texts. I also love recording great philosophical works as public-domain audio books for LibriVox - I am up to 43 hours and counting! I also have an infrequent blog site, A Logician & A Snake (ALAS).
