The Canadian and United States border is comprised of very remote and often inaccessible terrain.  The goal for our capstone project this year is to create and test an autonomous land drone consisting of low cost components and powered by a chain saw motor, that can successfully navigate the United States and Canadian border during the spring mud season.  Our land drone design will be competing against other team designs in tests of proficiency in navigating to specific GPS coordinates and gather data.  The beneficiary of this project will be the US Customs and Border Protection Agency.
