Questions without easy answers

A Question Without an Easy Answer is the question that will open up new knowledge and draw in the knowledge that others hold. If articulate these questions, and share our stories and understandings with others across the Landcare movement, we will all learn faster, and deeper, and wider.

Landcare committee members and staff from across the Goulburn Broken region met late November 2014, to look at what was working better and what needs to work better to support Landcare groups and networks within the NRM planning system.

Once we had done our assessment, we looked for the Questions Without Easy Answers. We found five:

1. How can local Landcare groups be encouraged to share and participate beyond their boundaries, contributing to the work of Landcare networks?

2. How can Landcare develop new and maintain current services that are worth paying for, so that it remains sustainable?

3. How do we engage people so they want to contribute at committee level?

4. How can the Landcare network effectively articulate its role to the Landcare community?

5. How can people get the information they want, when they want it, in a fragmented market?

All good questions.  At the start of February 2015, we reconvene for answers.
