Bee removal services offered by members

Probably the number two reason for members of the public to contact member of the club is to ask us to remove a bee colony that has setup home somewhere that is inconvenient.  Remember, however, that beekeepers are only interested in honey bees.  For anything else you should contact an exterminator.  To make sure what you have is a honey bee, refer to the following helpful picture:

Both Paul Lacelle (613) 253-0566 and Jurg Zurcher (613) 808-2135 have started to offer this as a service, at a reasonable fee which depends on how easy it is to get at the colony and how viable the colony is.
