The old king has just died childless so now is the time to grab the throne.   Your peers only understand force and your subjects only understand gold.   Gather your men, pay your knights and assert your claim.  


A short, interactive, multi-player wargame with bluffing and bidding all boiled down to 15-20 minutes. Everyone drafts their forces, bids for special abilities and has only four turns to capture an enemy castle or grab the most land. Money is very tight and is used to both recruit forces and also to motivate them to fight.

Design notes (Rikki Tahta):  We like games which involve biffing each other but wargames are usually two player, several hours long and suffer from long downtime.  So we developed a game that was  short, interactive and as simultaneous as possible.  Rules below.
