This is the site for all the communication you need from the Lakota East High School Drama Club.  Drama Club is open to all Lakota East students, grades 9-12. We have monthly organizational meetings, an October community service project called Trick-or-Treat so Kids Can Eat, and countless opportunities to participate in the world of theater.  We are also members of the International Thespian Society, an honor society for theater students.  Our troupe number is 4080. Our mission is to provide an array of educational theatrical opportunities for our students, and quality entertainment for our community.

Book by Timothy Allen McDonald
Music and Lyrics by Benj Pasek and Justin Paul

Based on one of Roald Dahl's most poignantly quirky stories, Roald Dahl's James and the Giant Peach Jr. is a brand new take on this "masterpeach" of a tale.  Featuring a wickedly tunefu core and a witty and charming book, this adventurous musical about courage and self-discovery is destined to be a classic.

When James is sent by his conniving aunts to chop down their old fruit tree, he discovers a magic potion that grows a tremendous peach, rolls into the ocean and launches a journey of enormous proportions.  James befriends a collection of singing insects that ride the giant piece of fruit across the ocean, facing hunger, sharks and plenty of disagreements along the way.  --MTIshows.com
