Recycling Center

Recycling Attendant:
    Merle Abernethy
Supervisor Liaison:
    Diane Holliday-Welsh
The Lakewood Recycling Center is located near the Town Hall at 3110 Strand Road.
Hours of Operation
Wednesday 3:00 - 9:00 p.m.
Saturday 9:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.

Inside the shed, all the bins are Mixed Containers.  There is no need to sort out the different
colors of glass from the plastics or the metal cans; they can all go into the same bin.

Mixed paper, cardboard (and brown paper bags), and newspapers each have a separate bin outside.

Aluminum cans (clean & crushed) go into the can shed.

See columns to the right for more information on recycling materials.
Stop in and check it out.
Happy Recycling!
Please, DO NOT leave recycled materials if the center is closed.
This will be considered a dumping violation.
