Laketown residents are to pay their membership dues annually.
Your membership year begins on January 1 and ends on December 31 of every calendar year.


How much does it cost to be a member?

Household dues are $20.00 per year
Business dues are $35.00 per year
  • The right to 1 vote at annual and special association meetings.
  • Qualification to run for office on the Board of Directors during annual election.
 
What are the membership dues going to be used for?
  • Neighborhood Watch and crime prevention activities
  • Food donations given to area food pantries:
  • School supplies donations for Laketown schools
  • Donations given to:
    • Woodside Township
    • Sangamon County Sheriff’s Department
  •  Spring and Fall  Area Wide Garage Sales 
    • advertising in the SJ-R
    • area signs for advertising upcoming sales 
  • Annual area wide clean up days
    • dumping fee 
    • area signs to notify residents of pick up dates
  • Curb Appeal contest with awards
  • Holiday Light contest with awards
  • Community events
  • Printing and mailing quarterly newsletters to 925 Laketown homes
