The Lakeshore Parrot Head Club is an affiliate of Parrot Heads in Paradise, Inc.  The club was created to promote friendship and organize social activities for people with similar interests, including enjoyment of the tropical/laid back life spirit of Jimmy Buffett’s music.  We have monthly meetings and many fun events to participate in.

In addition, the Lakeshore Parrot Head Club is a non-profit organization that emphasizes participation in a variety of volunteer efforts in the local and regional community.  We participate in various fundraising activities, with our primary focus being The Alzheimers Association, Great Lakes Chapter.  Our biggest fundraising event is our annual BUCCANEER BASH, held in July at the Ludington Boat Club.  In 2016, we raised a record $11,100 for this worthy cause.  We also support the local Salvation Army by collecting food at our monthly meetings, ringing the bell for the holiday Red Kettle Campaign and and annual December collection of food and Toys for Tots in front of Shop N Save.   All our efforts have been very successful , in large part because of our good standing in our community.

In the process of making new friends and having fun, we believe in leaving something positive behind.  Our club is open to anyone with a laid back/ tropical spirit and desire to contribute to the betterment of the community.
