Lake Horicon

In the late 1700's the banks of the lake was home to Federal Forge.

General John S. Schultze is credited with changing the name of the lake from "Congress Pond" to "Lake Horicon."

Please be drive slowly around the lake.   Many people walk with their children and pets on the road.  The turtles and terrapins, also need our help while they cross the road during the spring and summer months.
