Boat Ramps

Muskegon offers great ways to access the Lake.  Below you will find links to the City of
Muskegon facilities and the Muskegon State Park Snug Harbor Ramp.

City of Muskegon ramps charge $10 per launch.

A yearly pass for $40 can be purchased by City of Muskegon resident non- resident $55.

The Muskegon Jaycees Boat Launch Ramp requires a fee and is closest to the Channel.

The Grand Trunk Boat Launch / Ramp is just down the road from the Jaycees Launch.

The City Marina is called Hartshorn Marina and is a full fledged marina with a nice boat launch.

Fisherman’s Landing which accommodates both the car and trailer also has a special handicapped lift for boaters and a dry storage area for sailboats. Fish cleaning station and showers also included.

The Snug Harbor ramp at Muskegon State Park offers a lighted boat launch. This ramp is located on the northwest corner of the lake, and serves many boaters coming from the north and those choosing to camp at Muskegon State Park. A fish cleaning station is available.
