Senior Golf League Rules 2023

Start Date May 3, 2023 14 matches

Teams will be assigned and cards will be made

Starting time will be on Wednesdays - 10:00am in May and then 9:00am June until finished

1.  Club Rules will Apply

2. Sand Trap play will be announced when cards are handed out

A.  If in Play - Rake Clean and Replace

1.  One Stroke Penalty may be taken with drop out of the sand trap

B.  If NOT in play - NO Penalty for drop out of the sand trap.

3.  NO MULLIGANS or GIMMIES

A.  REMEMBER - You are playing ALL League members, not just your group

4.  NO MAKE UPS

A.  NET score of 38 will be posted if you are missing

1.  Each golfer is allowed 3 misses per season

2. NO points will be awarded after the 3rd miss

B.  Handicap will not be affected when missing

1.  Missing golfers score line on card will be left blank

5.  Score keeper for the group will sign the card

6.  Points will be awarded - LOW NET score highest points then descending order HIGHEST NET score lowest points

7.  Handicaps will start from last 4 scores from last year then each weeks score will be entered with the oldest dropping off

A.  The maximum handicap for any golfer will be 18

B.  New Senior League golfers handicap will be set based on previous play

8.  NO Play due to weather, Holidays, etc. - will be made up at end of league
