Pork cutlets with paprika and potatoes

4 pork chops
¼ cup corn flour
2 tbs ground sweet paprika
½ tbs salt
2 tbs sunflower oil
1 small onion, chopped
1 red or green pepper, sliced into strips
4 potatoes, peeled and cut into slices
1 tbs Vegeta
¾ cup water


1. Remove visible fat from the chops and lightly beat them with a meat mallet.
2. Mix in a bowl corn flour, 1 tablespoon ground sweet paprika and salt.
3. Coat the cutlets with flour mixture.
4. Fry the cutlets for 3 minutes on each side in hot oil in a deep skillet. Remove from the skillet and set aside.
5. Add onion to the same skillet and sauté until tender (if necessary, add a little oil).
6. Add pepper cut into strips and sauté with onions for a short time.
7. Add potatoes, the remaining tablespoon of sweet paprika and Vegeta. Add water, stir (potatoes should be evenly coated with paprika and Vegeta).
8. Place the cutlets onto potatoes, simmer over low heat, half covered, for 20 minutes or until potatoes are done. If necessary, add some more water.
