  • Welcome to the Louisiana Gifted and Talented Informational website. We are starting a STATEWIDE RESEARCH PROJECT to look at initial identification scores for GT children and what services they are receiving around the state!

What do we need from you..... IT'S SIMPLE.... We need....

    1. A copy of your child's initial evaluation with the age of testing
    2. A copy of your child's current IEP.
    3. A brief statement of your understanding of what your child's GT program was allowed to contain

These items will help us get a better understanding of how well our GT system is working in our state. We DO NOT NEED ANY IDENTIFYING INFORMATION about your child. His/her age when tested, current grade on the current IEP and parish is the only identifying information we are tracking, so please feel free to BLACK OUT all identifying information before emailing to livinglouisiana@gmail.com

Also, Please be sure to check out the STEPS TO RECEIVING AN APPROPRIATE EDUCATION section on the sidebar and to take the Parent Survey. Together we can help Louisiana become the number ONE state for Gifted and Talented education.
