A SCOOP OF HOOPS
from Coach Bress

December 1, 2017

Selecting the team to represent LPB this season was especially difficult because the number of girls trying out was higher than in the recent past and the competition was much more intense.  Our returning seniors were true leaders and took nothing for granted while the sophomores and juniors really made it difficult for Coach Grav and I to come to our final decisions.  It is the toughest job in coaching to look a young lady in the eye and tell her that despite her effort and determination, there is not a place for her on the squad this year.

That being said, I would like to congratulate the 19 young women who will proudly represent the Lady Pioneers in 2016-17:  SENIORS Jessica Cirone, Kasey Diodati, Jordan Harbaugh, Brooke Pawlowski, Sarah Platt and Kylie Watermasysk; JUNIORS Lynaisa Jones, Elaina Hansen, Alyssa Martin and Julia Michael; and SOPHOMORES Paige Cianciulli, Julia Cirone, Brooke Cooper, Nina Freda, Rachel Hollywood, Gianna LaGuarina, Hannah Martinelli, Gina Rucci and Josie Wilson.

    Go LPB!
