Meadowdale Lady Mavs Feeder
The Meadowdale Lady Mavs Feeder Basketball program gives players the opportunity to develop close relationships with girls they will be playing with in high school, while teaching them the “Meadowdale Way” long before trying out at the high school level.
TRYOUTS! 2023-2024 Season
Coming Soon. Tryouts will be in early October, 2023, for 5th-8th girls teams (4th graders can tryout to see if there's an availability).
Forms: We will have online forms for in the fall. We also have Concussion and Code of Conduct forms at this page. Please print and sign these so you won't have to do this when you arrive.
Feeder Zone Rules: Meadowdale will play in a new league with mostly WesCo teams. More info will be out when it becomes avialable.
Eligibility: Teams must abide by ETL rules regarding out-of-zone girls. Meadowdale girls must play for Meadowdale if offered a position, and out-of-zone girls may play for Meadowdale if we have availability and their high school zone does not have a team. If their zone does have a team they will have to play for them as first option. Out-of-zone girls should ensure they have other options.
Edmonds School District (Lynnwood, Mountlake Terrace & Edmonds-Woodway) will have feeder tryouts this year. If you are not in the Meadowdale Zone, we recommend you attend tryouts for other feeder teams to increase options. Go to the ESD Feeder Site for info.

Getting Girls on Team: This year we are working with other teams in the Edmonds School District, namely Edmonds-Woodway, Lynnwood, Mountlake Terrace, to ensure that all girls find teams. This means we are considering combined tryouts and teams as an option.
Lady Mavs 4th through 8th Grade (4th Graders usually would have to play up on 5th)

Lady Mavs of the Future
The program is comprised of teams, ten girls max, made up of players from 4th through 8th grade who will ultimately attend Meadowdale High School, or those who live in the Meadowdale High School service area (4th grade if we have enough players, though usually 4th graders play up on 5th).
Our season begins in October/ November and runs through the beginning of March. We play in a League and several regional tournaments.
The program strives to develop girls into strong, competitive players through an emphasis on fundamentals, teamwork, community, and love of the game.
