SCRIPTS is our home grown, non-funded,
collective zine that seeks to be a vibrant space for
queer/feminist/activist/creative voices to connect, interact and reach a
wider audience. The first issue was published in October 1998 and since
then we have published twelve issues on various themes as censorship, love
letters, hair, motherhood, and other such queer concerns. The editorial
board consists of the current collective and all the editing, designing
and art work is done gratis by us and our friends.
LABIA Phoneline is a phone line for LBT people to
connect, talk about their concerns, and start the process of breaking out
of the isolation that being queer often entails upon us even today. The
phone line is open only on Mondays, Wednesdays and Saturdays from 5 pm – 8
pm at 9833278171.
CineLabia are monthly film screenings which
serve as a social space to chill out, watch, and discuss queer and
feminist films from across the world. This is being run free of cost since
2008 with support and space from Majlis (A center for rights discourse and
inter-disciplinary arts initiatives).
